Paula Basler
teacher
Since she was this quite animated young girl, growing up in the vivid centre of Berlin, Paula was torn between her analytical mind and her creative heart. Loving mathematics and natural science as much as languages, humanities and arts, the decided to study French language studies and biology. Whereas her mind and her heart were struggling to decide between the logical, structured world of science and the emotive, free spirited world of arts, both - her mind and her heart - were set on the idea of teaching.
Paula’s Yoga journey began in 2018, when she experienced the benefits of a daily mediation practice for her emotional life. Being drawn to the mat by the wish of reconnecting to her feelings and mental dimensions, she soon started to dive deeper into this Universe called Yoga – this universe that seems to constantly expand and never stops to fascinate, surprise or teach her something.
At first, she gravitates towards the Asana practice of Vinyasa Flow, as to her these dynamic sequences are a great mean to playfully communicate with her physical body, as well as they act as a creative, joyful form of moving mediation. In order to compliment the heat of this practice and to compensate the fever of her daily grind, she introduces more and more Breathwork Techniques and Yin Yoga Asana to the practice.
Driven by her own longing for a lifetime full of learning and the fascination for all the forms and facets in which these teachings appear, she wishes to inspire others to keep on exploring all the miracles this planet, this life, this human body and this practice holds for us.
Being completely captivated by the power of Yoga, she completes a 200h Multi- Style TTC and 60h continuous education for Yin Yoga and TCM within short time and starts working as Yoga Anatomy Teacher for a Teacher-Training-Program.
She is eager to share all her daydreams, knowledge and experiences, if it is in teaching biology classes to teenagers or guiding practitioners though an Asana sequence. To her, coming to the mat means allowing herself to levitate in this Universe of self-exploration and personal growing and teaching means empowering others to explore this space for themselves.
Maria Antonia Romaguera
TEACHER & Founder of guaret Mallorca
I am Maria Antonia Romaguera, aka Tota. My passion for health at an integral level began without me knowing it during my studies in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, I knew and was clear that I could contribute a lot to society and it was not through the conventional health system. It was a matter of time before the pieces fell into place. Since I finished my degree, it was clear to me that I wanted to help empower and teach humans how; "Not feeling at home within what we call body, mind and soul, is not normal."
At the end of my degree, I began an adventure on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in Portland, Oregon, there I entered more deeply into the world of conscious eating and integrative nutrition, seeing health as a whole. From the United States I had the opportunity to travel and learn more about the American continent, which has greatly influenced my cuisine and my vision of human nutrition.
Today the practice and study of yoga is part of my life and thanks to that I am on a path of internal growth, without it I would probably not be at this point.
The recent world situation has been the trigger to finally start focusing on my dream project, that merges YOGA and NUTRITION, the two sciences that today keep me alive, full of love and with the desire of being able to expand the well-being that they generate me.
