Our program:

A 100 H YTTC, created by Hayley Nariyah and Janine Behrendt to take you deeper into the experience of Yoga, as well as offering teachers to refine their teaching skills and take their teachings to the next level. This course offers an opportunity to explore practices, which go beyond Yoga Asana. You can expect to experience Yoga on all levels - with a non-conventional timeless approach whilst still maintaining the tradition.

This course aims to bring across the diversity of practices, which can lead to a state of Union (Yoga). There is not just one truth - there is never just one way of practice. Nothing is purely Yin or Yang - one can’t exist without the other.

During our course, we want to encourage practitioners and teachers to think outside the box. Combining and integrating different aspects and approaches in order to create harmony and balance. Integrating new tools, allowing creative energy to flow, without losing the tradition.

1. Advanced Alignment & Biomechanics of the body (20H)

Drawn from the wisdom of traditional Hatha and Iyengar Yoga, we will explore advanced alignment in posture through the comprehension of the biomechanics of the body and the purpose of specific Asana groups and their effect on the body-mind system. This exploration will allow you to deepen your own practice and up-skill your teachings on the physical practice to an integrated holistic level, enhancing your ability to guide students towards a deeper understanding of their practice and their connection to the natural world.

2. The Art of Touch & Hands on Assists (20H)

Inspired by the renowned Jivamukti Yoga method, we will share with you the art of skillfully adjusting and assisting the practice in a way that enables your students to experience a deeper state of Yoga—both physically and energetically. You'll gain the ability to read and assist energy lines effortlessly, all while maintaining a safe and nurturing space. This skill will not only deepen your own practice but also enhance your effectiveness as a teacher, creating profound connections with your students.

3. Prana Flow Awakening Tools & Intuitive Sequencing (20H)

Explore a set of intermediate to advanced Prana Flow Tools that will increase and exhilarate the flow of prana within you and your students. Drawing inspiration from the Kundalini Yoga method, we'll delve into elements of Kriya Yoga, which beautifully complement any yoga practice and elevate the energetic frequency of your classes. You'll learn how to intuitively choose and seamlessly incorporate these tools into your teaching, creating an authentic and transformative experience for your students.

4. Integrated Teaching/ Art of Teaching (20H)

Learn to create an experience of Yoga! Yoga is much more than just the physical practice of posture. Although Asana is an important tool which serves as a gateway practice to Yoga in the modern world, as a Yoga teacher it should be our priority to teach/share Yoga on an integrated level! Learn to conduct Dharma talks to evoke a thought process during your classes and seamlessly integrate the teachings of scripture into your classes. Learn how to integrate all aspects of Yoga into your teachings, whilst still remaining true to yourself.

5. Somatics & Embodiment practice/ 5 elements (20H)

Sense, feel, and heal through restoring and nourishing practices and teachings. This segment provides an opportunity to connect with your innermost nature while allowing your nervous system to restore to optimal health and well-being. Learn how to develop inner listening to the body's intelligence through somatic tools, including, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, dance elements and other embodiment practices, based on the expression of the five elements that make up nature. Through your own experience, you will be able to share this healing experience with your own students.
